Dr Taba took the time to explain the options as well as what I could expect. Before the surgery I was in pain and on several pain killers. I had been taking injections from pain management Physicians in my nerve to give me some form of normalcy for about 10 years. It has been a year since my surgery and I am no longer ion pain medications and able to walk long distances, ride my bike etc.

Dr. Taba is possibly the kindest, most thorough and patient Doctor I have ever had the pleasure of being a patient of. He has been a Godsend to me and he has done so much to help me and steer me in the right direction. He is number one in my book!

One year post back fusion and I had to share again how much Dr. Taba has helped me. The horrible nerve pain did not come back. I can walk without pain. Even more importantly is that Dr. Taba always listens to me and takes time to make sure everything is covered. I have seen so many doctors and rarely have that experience. I will go back to Dr. Taba for all future back problems (which I will have because I have terrible joints)!

Dr Houtan was very personable, explained everything in detail and gave me a few options of what I can do to relieve my lower back pain. I liked that he did not jump to drastic measures and believes in trying conservative remedies first. His staff are also very friendly and accommodating making it a very pleasant experience from the initial phone call.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Taba. I have had back problems for years and have barely been able to walk for 2 years. I had numerous injections and saw other back surgeons who referred me for tests but then would not do anything. Dr. Taba reviewed my information before I saw him and spent a lot of time listening and explaining my condition. He was the first doctor who did not make me feel crazy or like I was exaggerating my pain. I had a 2 level fusion 3 weeks ago and feel so good. The nerve pain I had been living with is completely gone. I am not able to walk for exercise. My recovery from surgery has been much easier than other surgeries. If you are having serious back issues you should definitely see Dr. Taba. He really treats you like a person and not just a patient. His office staff have also been very efficient and helpful.

Dr. Taba, is an amazing caring individual! I am glad I was referred to Dr.Taba. His entire team really take care of excellent care of me, from returning phone calls and making sure I’m being taken care. Dr. Taba, is really knowledgeable, and I never feel rushed into the room with him. He is definitely friendly and professional.I will keep recommend him over and over to anyone who would need a great spine surgeon.

The office visit was good. However, he did not follow through with the therapy people with new orders.

I've seen Dr. Taba a few times now. He takes the time to listen to my concerns and makes sure to explain his reasoning for the treatments he chooses. As someone with a chronic illness, I appreciate doctors who care about their patients being onboard with their treatment.

Dr Taba is caring and spends enough time with you to answer all your questions. His nurses are great also
